I was born and grew up in Newton Kansas, & graduated from Newton High school in 1967. I went off to college in Ohio. I soon after, joined the Air Force as an enlisted man and rose through the ranks to retire as an Air Force Officer a Captain in rank. I went on to work for several business in Wichita Kansas before leaving to find work in North Dakota and Arkansas. I ended my secular career as the owner owner and manager of Arkansas Best Construction and Roofing companies in Fort Smith Arkansas.
I have an
Associate’s Degree in Workforce Management from Community College of the
Air Force and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Industrial Technology
from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and a Masters degree in
Management for Webster University of St Louis Mo.
I was appointed
to my first charge in the United Methodist Church in Jan 1996 and went
to local pastor’s school that summer. I completed the United Methodist
Course of Study work through attending classes at Perkins in Arkansas,
correspondence work, and work at St Paul’s in Kansas City Missouri.
I went on to complete the advanced course work at Phillips Seminary
Tulsa OK and was ordained a Deacon in 2001. I was made an Associate
member of the North Arkansas Conference. Two years later I asked for a
change in status to become a Probationary member of the North Arkansas
Conference. I finished my 3 year probationary membership and was
ordained in 2006 as a full elder in the United Methodist in the new
Arkansas Conference.
I married my High School sweet heart and we will celebrated our 48th Anniversary this next November, I have one living child, who is in Fort Smith Arkansas with her two children and her husband. I also have two other grandsons living in California, born to my son who passed away several years ago from an overdose of Cocain.
My strengths would have to be my organizational and management skills, my construction and project management skills, my computer and multimedia abilities, also my preaching and teaching abilities, and a desire to be a pastor to my congregation. I have belonged to the Order of Saint Luke since 1996 and took my Life vow to that Order in 2005 to uphold and put forth the Sacramental life within my ministry.

Served as Senior Pastor to several Churches in Arkansas
Established management systems for accounting, production control and manufacturing.
Developed and implemented new management systems for several companies.
Introduced production techniques that improved work loading, budgeting, and accounting systems.
These techniques have controlled all phases of manufacturing, insuring the effective and efficient control of many different systems, subsystems, and projects.
These systems are in use at many Air Force bases and save the federal government many thousands of dollars.
Directed the work of professional, skilled and semi-skilled employees, approving work projects, setting up maintenance schedules, scheduling daily work loads, planning work projects, designing projects for accomplishment, ordering supplies and equipment, and setting up and warehousing materials. Work was accomplished ahead of schedules, with no problems and always with the efficient use of materials manpower and resources.
Developed cost estimation systems for both McConnell AFB and Grand Forks AFB SABER contracts. Further developed and implemented specialized Quality Control programs for these Federal Contracts.
Managed several computerized systems for scheduling, budgeting and accounting. These have controlled all phases of management, and have simplified project reporting and general project management. Installed various computers and computer systems at several locations, setting up and training on Hardware, Software, Local Area Networks and Remote Communication Networks.
Established personnel management and position classifications procedures, allowing for better scheduling of personnel and control of assets, and work forces.
Wrote comprehensive Safety Programs, investigating accidents, and correcting potential accident situations. Received citations for several safety programs accomplishments.
Controlled all construction and maintenance requirements, accomplished on several military installations.
Supervised the budgeting for, engineering design of, contracting out of, and accomplishment of millions of dollars of Federal contracts. These projects were of all sizes and in all major engineering disciplines.
Designed, competitively contracted out for accomplishment, and finally completed the various projects, within very stringent constraints.
